Formerly a practitioner of funerary rights when living, Minthe has very little to complain about upon their death once they're offered work and residence as Artisan to the House of Hades. After the release of the imprisoned Court Musician from Tartarus — the disgraced bard of legend known as Orpheus — things seem to become that much more favorable for the pair once they swiftly forge a bond as fast friends, then as inseparable artistic collaborators. It's not long until painter and poet find themselves partaking in a far more...intriguing dynamic then, where idle passions between creatives evolve into something neither of them could've ever expected to find in death. The past has a meddlesome habit of resurfacing, however, and upon learning of the whereabouts of his long lost wife, Eurydice, Orpheus can't help but to look back all over again: The bard briefly forsakes everything he'd since fostered with Minthe, all for one last chance at reclaiming what had so cruelly been taken from him those many centuries ago. Though ever the voice of reason, Eurydice wastes no time in talking some sense into her former husband once she learns of his folly, and after quite a bit of groveling on Orpheus’ part, Minthe is all too happy to take him back. Things are good for the pair again after that...all is as it should be. Until it isn't.In an unprecedented turn of events, the newly resurfaced Titan of Time has risen to disrupt the peace of the Underworld and lay siege to the House of Hades — Minthe and Orpheus are separated in the midst of the turmoil, leaving the Court Musician’s whereabouts unknown as the House Artisan is whisked away along with those who’d managed to evade capture. Now a member of The Unseen and entangled in a seemingly endless war that they never asked to be a part of, Minthe can only hold fast to hope that they'll find a way back down into the depths of Hades to reunite with Orpheus, even if it kills them all over again in the process to do it.

My name is Min! I also go by Necro if using my name feels too personal.
I'm a nonbinary Chicano artist of dreadfully pale palor residing in Texas, and of all the characters filling the cast of the sexy Greek mythology game for me to get freakishly attached to, it had to be the sad sack of a he/they who amounts to little more than a glorified in-game jukebox. My infatuation with Orpheus was a near instantaneous affair during my first playthrough of Hades in late December of 2020 — For as much as I tried to fend off the urge to heed the Selfshipper's Call™, attempting to dismiss it as mere lockdown-induced madness, it was towards the tail end of January 2021 when I created Minthe to be my Hades self insert and began exploring my relationship with that soggy little bard.[muse4muse] is a project that may come and go in waves of intensity throughout the years, but my affections for Orpheus remain as steadfast as ever. He truly is a muse for the ages, and I look forward to loving him for many more days, years, and eons to come.
While Minthe is crafted specifically to exist within the universe of their source material, they are very much an interpretation of me and should be respected as such. Please use their correct pronouns if writing in ENG
I sometimes switch between first and third person when talking about my ship, and may address my self insert by "Min" for brevity's sake — I, however, only go by "Min"
I treat selfshipping as a fun project and can separate myself from the fantasy, but I care for Orpheus fairly closely to how I would an IRL romantic partner
I can be very protective of my interpretation of Orpheus' character, and don't acknowledge any other interpretation of the mythic Orpheus with romantic interest
I prefer following other users closer to my own demographic (25+, particularly 30+) — Generally speaking though, as long as you are 18+, we can interact with each other!
I tend to only follow users with similar interests to my own: Please do not take it personally if I do not return a follow/break mutuals, or if I utilize muting features to make browsing a little easier for myself
Unless it's noted to hard block to break mutuals, I typically soft block in case I want to interact in the future. You are welcome to block me for your own comfort, and I similarly block freely whenever necessary
I post/share suggestive content rather frequently, be it about my own ship or those belonging to friends. I do my best to mitigate explicit NSFW to 18+ specific spaces, but still expect things to get saucy
You are not 18+. A simple enough request and yet it still bears mentioning. Don't try to be cute by lying or circumventing a block by using an alternate account, man, please be so very normal
You are an Orpheus (Hades) double. I tried to be normal about sharing but failed tremendously...people I interact with first are fine, strangers will be blocked to avoid any mishaps rather than anything personal
You dislike Orpheus as a character, or equate any misgivings you have towards other interpretations of the mythic Orpheus from literature, shows/films, or other games with him specifically
You partake in sexualized shipping content pertaining to incest/minors/feral animals. I'm neither proship nor anti but still have my hard limits: Respect them and there shouldn't be a problem
You often find yourself embroiled in or engaging with fandom/shipping discourse. I'm old and simply haven't the patience if that's 90% of your personality...that goes for both self-identified pros and antis
You're weird or rude about selfship and/or OC×Canon. Genuinely what are you even doing here at this point if that's the case. This is selfship country, buster. Scram!

introductions ...
Since first gaining sapience as a Menos, Guillermin Muglierre only ever wanted to lead a simple existence. During their early days, they roamed the sands of Hueco Mundo with a ragtag posse led by fellow Adjuchas, Grimmjow; though once his pursuit of evolution grew too wearisome to endure, Guillermin splintered from the group to live in solitude — save for one fleeting encounter with a green-eyed Vasto Lorde — before later being drawn in by the machinations of Sousuke Aizen.Guillermin’s life as an Arrancar starts pleasantly enough, serving as Fracción under the Tres Espada, Nelliel until the mysterious expulsion of both her and their squadmates, suddenly leaving them as a solo agent. Grimmjow — now the Sexta Espada — requests for Guillermin to join his own squadron, though they rebuke him in hopes of deciphering the events behind the former Tres’ disappearance, seeking meanwhile to grow closer with Ulquiorra; the Cuatro Espada they’d quietly admired from afar upon recognizing him as the Vasto Lorde from their past. With his consul, Guillermin manages to publicly lambast Nnoitra as the cause of Nelliel’s expulsion, leading to his removal as Quinto Espada so that they may take his place. Following their promotion, the ambiguous nature of their associations with Ulquiorra, coupled with Grimmjow’s own affinity for the new Quinto, further complicate the already bitter rivalry between Cuatro and Sexta. The time for interpersonal conflict reaches a halt as Aizen sets his plans for war with the Gotei 13 in motion. Once the battle reaches home turf, Guillermin slowly uncovers how their benevolent leader may not have Hueco Mundo’s best interests in mind, only to be met with disinterest from Grimmjow and stubborn fealty from Ulquiorra. They’re unable to remedy any of these concerns as the bloodshed hits a fevered pitch, tragically claiming Ulquiorra in the process. Now left with the tattered remains of what once was, Guillermin and Grimmjow soon find themselves pulled into the chaos of war again during the Quincy invasion of the Seireitei: Only this time, they'll be accompanied by a familiar face who, by all accounts, has absolutely no business being there.

I'm a nonbinary Chicano artist of dreadfully pale palor residing in Texas, and I've regrettably been afflicted with the grimmulqui mind virus longer than some humans have been alive: @Kubo, you owe me a lifetime's worth of compensation for the brain damage you've inflicted upon me.As a long-time fan of Bleach, it's difficult for me to convey just how foundational my affinity for Ulquiorra and Grimmjow has been on me as a person: One of my first forays into the world of OC×Canon was a ship I'd created with Ulquiorra around 2006, and while that iteration didn't survive the years, my obsesssion with grimmulqui as a pairing has held strong ever since first becoming yaoi-pilled shortly after.[15shipping] is a long-overdue testament to just how much the Cuatro and Sexta mean to me, and will continue to mean to me well into the future. They're freaks, but they're my freaks, and I genuinely wouldn't have it any other way.

My selectivity towards Grimmjow doubles is relatively lenient: If I don't like the vibes of a ship, I'll just block. Otherwise it's fair game! I'm a bit pickier with Ulquiorra doubles but still do my best to be open for interactions
I prefer following other users closer to my own demographic (25+, particularly 30+) — Generally speaking though, as long as you are 18+, we can interact with each other!

You ship ulquihime, or you're unkind towards Orihime as a character. While I try to blacklist any mention, I prefer avoiding anybody who posts about it as a whole to lessen my chances of seeing it
You ship grimmichi in the context of Ichigo being high school-aged. I don't mind quite as much if he's Hell Arc-aged. While it's not as hard a limit, I can still be a little picky with other Grimmjow×Canon ships
